These interviews were conducted by members of the Franklin County Historical Society in 1996. The interviews contain memories of World War II from the viewpoint not only of the soldiers, but the people on the home front. The original interviews were done on audiocassettes, but the Historical Society converted the analog audio on the cassettes to a digital format in 2015. These digital audio files can be accessed at the History Room of the Franklin County Library. The numbers indicate the order in which the files were created and do not indicate any other order of priority. Files with names underlined have photos and samples posted on individual pages.
